Welcome to Mount Olive Where We Are “Serving God’s Creation”

Our goal is to welcome everyone as a child of God and as a part of our church family. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by proclaiming the Gospel and joyfully reaching out in love to nurture, teach, and heal in Jesus’ name.

Frequently Asked Questions

When are your worship services?

Service is at 10:30 am in the Main Sanctuary.

Where do I go when I arrive?

The Main Sanctuary entrance is at the back of the church where there is a large parking lot. The entrance has a brick sidewalk and two glass doors. Look for the “Loaves and Fishes Pantry/Main Entrance” sign.

What are the services like?

Service is led by the pastor who announces the Scriptures for the week, church events, a list of needed food pantry items, relevant community announcements and shares a prayer request list. A liturgist reads the Scripture. Service is about one hour long and includes music by a rotating group of soloists or small groups.

What should I wear to a service?

Mount Olive UMC is a diverse congregation where most are dressed casually, but a few choose to wear their Sunday best. Feel free to dress in a way that is comfortable for you.

What about Sunday School?

Adult Sunday School/Bible Study is at 9:15 am on Sunday.  Children’s Sunday School is during the 10:30 am service.
