Our ministries offer you ways to get involved. These ministries are open to everyone.
Worship
Our Worship Ministry uses music, dance, drama, and other spiritual art forms to fully engage us in worshipping God.
Loaves and Fishes
We distribute boxes of groceries, fresh produce, and dairy every third Saturday of the month. Learn more about this ministry and our weekly pantry here.
Prayer Ministry
Join us for an hour of prayer on Tuesdays 12:00 noon – 1 pm. Everyone is invited to offer prayer, make a prayer request, or just listen.

United Methodist Women
Members of the United Methodist Women around the world raise around $20 million each year to support programs and projects related to women, children, and youth in the U.S. and in more than 100 countries around the world. Learn more about our local unit here.
Youth Group
Middle and Senior High School youth meet on Sundays for Bible Study, fellowship, fun, food, and to learn about being a Christian and living a Christian Life. Call the church to confirm meeting times.
Computer Lab
Our Computer Lab is available by appointment. Computer stations and a printer are available.
Green Team
The Green Team works to acquire the knowledge, skills, tools, and support we need to raise community awareness of work to restore the waters of the Chesapeake region and address climate change issues. Learn about our projects and our community garden here.
Pickleball
Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and ping pong. There is an outdoor court and an inside court. Pickleball at Mount Olive on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm for skills drills and 5:30 pm to 8 pm for games. New location: Mount Olive is partnering with the county to provide a free pickleball program at the Randallstown Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm to 5 pm. During the summer, we will also be playing most Sundays from 2 pm to 5 pm, but call first to ensure the center is open and available. (No pickleball lessons on Sundays.) There are four courts and balls and paddles are provided. All skill levels including beginners are welcome. Sign up when you arrive. Visit our Facebook page @mtolivepickleball.
Community Outreach and Service
The church responds to needs in the community by providing school supplies to needy students and volunteering with organizations such as Baltimore County Christian Workcamp and Manna House.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Members meet the second Monday of each month from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to make prayer shawls, lap robes, and caps for newborns. Prayer shawls are presented to new members, confirmands, and community members.
