This sermon informs the watcher that acceptance and validity are two different concepts. One is conditional, and one is affirming. It also proposes that sometimes, when people accept you, they may not want you included, even though you have been accepted. But the victory is that Jesus accepts all of you--the good, bad, the ugly, and the indifferent--he wants all the smoke. That is what we should focus on, and we should be thanking God that our validation doesn't depend on what someone else thinks or their celebrity.
